Hello all,
Do you know which site gives you the highest buyer referral bonus. I have 2 companies who are willing to buy a package for 500$. Could anyone sum up what you get where, because I can't seem to find it.
muchas gracias!

How's this. We give $5 for a referral, but I'll give you $50 for each if they both buy $500.

Isn't Bryan the greatest?
(Can Fortunefame then join the Sideshow?)

I have never looked at buyer referrals but I think it is something like this:
SS 10% indefinately
FT 10% for 5 years
123rf 10% for 6m
DT 10% for 3 years
FP 1.5% indefinately
StockXpert 10% 6 months
IS $5 one off
LO $5 one off (increased to $50 by the man himself)
These are all of the top of my head so could be completely wrong.
Think about what the buyer needs. If it is a subscription, SS could be the best. If just one off, I dont think I could recommend FT at the moment so DT looks good.

i think you are getting buyers and sellers referals confused CJ
I am not sure about the others, but shutterstock offers this... quoted from webiste
You will earn 20% of all the sales you generate - and these earnings get added up in the same account you currently use! For example, if you refer a user that purchases a $120 membership, you will make $25 - and then you still make money on their downloads! You earn 20% up to $50 per sale. Cool, right? ;) If you refer a subscriber that purchases a $370 membership, you make $50.
so it looks similar to the lucky oliver deal. you would earn $50 from both.

A little table I made a while ago.
Referral buyers + sellers (http://www.fintastique.com/guide.htm#Referrals)
Big stock claim 35% if its a brand new customer (http://www.bigstockphoto.com/affiliates.html)
Though the maximum credit purchase is $300 so you would get $105 as a one off payment but after that nothing nada zilch zero

I would consider whether they are likely to be repeat buyers. If so, consider which agencies give you ongoing referrals without a limit.
ShutterStock will indeed pay you $50, which Bryan generously matched. However, Dreamstime pay 10% over three years, which is $50 now plus whatever they spend in purchases over the next three years.
If they each spend $500 every six months you've got yourself $600 over three years.
I have a table of referral programs similar to Steve's:
www.microstockdiaries.com/microstock-moonlighting-with-referral-programs.html (http://www.microstockdiaries.com/microstock-moonlighting-with-referral-programs.html)
My personal referral strategy is to focus on referring contributors to ShutterStock and buyers to Dreamstime. They are the most lucrative programs long term.
...until the next change.
