The new Adobe Stock is very frustrating for buying photos compared to Fotolia. Before I could just buy a photo with my credits earned. I can't even select a size or see pricing credits for images anymore. They keep wanting me to buy a subscription.

Am I doing something wrong? I  really need to buy 1 single photo for a client and it isn't letting me use my credits to buy 1 photo anymore. I can't select a size or anything. Did they eliminate sizes?

Am I doing something wrong? Any other Photographers who are also Designers?

Hi,
Looks like you are not the only one who thinks AS does not have the web layout friendly like fotolia has it.

1- AS got rid of sizes (s,m,l,x,xl,v)... if you buy a vector you will download just the vector EPS or AI, if you buy a photo or illustration (not vector) you download the max size jpg (the only file)

2- Now if you want to see in AS your seller portfolio, which are your queue files for approval...is not yet developed. Fotolia has it!

3- Also if you want to see inside your seller portfolio which are the latest files from a search query for example: flowers, fotolia has that option, in AS has not yet been developed.

4- If you want to promote your images from your portfolio in any social media, AS does not have a preview or your image, so you can not promote it like in fotolia.

I don't know how much these web design artifacts will affect in the coming months to sellers in the website. Hopefully any AS Director or Tech will read this and put hands on work to fulfill  I would say: NECESSARY web design fluidity ...now looks like a not yet ready website.

I have seen this before and the results were very bad for sellers and buyers...when Elance turned in Upwork...a very well web design through the years friendly, completed, detailed was replaced by a cold, too simple and buggy website.... You were advise be prepared for the Fotocaplipsie!!!

There's much missing but some of what you wrote isn't quite true.

2- Now if you want to see in AS your seller portfolio, which are your queue files for approval...is not yet developed.

https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/en/portfolio

click Uploaded files:
    New
    In review
    Reminder
    Rejected
    Releases

Rejected images don't need to be uploaded again, just edited.

Insights: There are sales stats and a graph, nope no views. You can look back and select a time period for sales and earnings. Sales shows the image, in order of most recent date on top, license type and amount. Click file number takes you to the image where you can get a link.

4- If you want to promote your images from your portfolio in any social media, AS does not have a preview or your image, so you can not promote it like in fotolia.

In dashboard, click on any image, you are in the editor, click on the file number... you are looking at the image. You can also get a promotion link here. True there's no search yet, well... sort by date, or sort by downloads. But links are there:

There's more but I find the submitting and editing for submission much easier on Adobe. You need to take a look and see what you can do, it doesn't jump off the page. You can create your own collections on Adobe.

Yes like you I hope they continue to add needed information and features. I'd expect that?

Thanks for the answers!...really difficult to see it..but options 2 and 4 are there...hided but there!!!

1 and 3 not yet but I can take it...the most essential for sellers is option 4...to promote it

Good Call!!!

So true, it takes some time to figure out the new site. That collection thing is interesting but I think someone has to be logged in to see it. I'd rather have like SS where a collection has a link and anyone can see it. My favorite part f the new is the image data editing. Easy, but you have to hover over and find the little edit pencil. Could be overlooked.

Still to answer the OP, I don't think you can buy photos with credits on Adobe. I never did, but I understand why someone who's a designer and artist would want to.

Maybe Mat will see this, even thought it's not in the Adobe section where he checks in often.

And for sellers and buyers we won't see anymore which are the most downloaded files or latest work in public profiles...it is important? yes...it gives web traffic to the site...people who doesn't have a clue about trends, tendencies or relevant files according search keywords...need to see that. If they dont find it in AS...i assume will go to another site to see it.

I'm so sad I can't buy files like I use to. Does anyone know of a place like fotolia where you can just buy the size you need?

Dreamstime, I guess.
Moderator should move this to Adobe so Mat can see and hopefully advice people at Adobe.

Adobe Stock does not sell images based on size and your commissions cannot be used to purchase content at this time.

I believe we still (sellers)need a search box inside our portfolio in Adobe Stock to find our images under a keyword, it is very useful to sort of our work for planning new work.

Yes, this is a top feature request that has come up a number of times. The development team is aware.

MAT, I must say your upload system at AS is the best ever in 14 Years.

Now it is not possible to see prices of images sold, only totals, too shady. Default tab now - Contributors of the week, of course this care is "motivating". Adobe choose iStock way. Interfaces starting to get similar, going to buy popcorn.

I moved over months ago and I'm enjoying the new artist friendly submission interface as well.
