Hello All,

In fact I don't have good experience with licence issues.

I have read some articles , and I understand now what's difference between RF and RM

However all my previous uploads in many agencies was only RF

My question now , Can I sell photos as RM in Alamy for example , while I am selling them as RF in other agencies ?

Thanks in advance

No, that's against their rules.

Does it mean that RM is the same like exclusive ???

If you can find another site that will accept RM non-exclusively, then you can use them as well.  All my RM photos are only on alamy at the moment.  They can go on Fine Art America and Zazzle, as they are selling prints and products but I haven't tried that with RM photos yet.

No, it just means that you know how often they have been licensed and to whom, and you can't know that if they are ever RF. But they can be RM on many sites as mentioned by sharpshot.  Also make sure your RM shots are different from the ones that are RF - they should not be too similar.

It can be tricky to have RM on multiple sites if any of the sites offer exclusivity for a period of time or location as part of their RM licensing. You can't have two people with exclusive North American rights for a year if the terms overlap, for example.

logically speaking because your RM on alamy dont have to be  exclusive (as per contract ), alamy suppose to contact you to verify if you've  licensed the picture somewhere else before selling your picture with some exclusive  rights

Yes, but as soon as a picture sells RF you must remove it from the RM Alamy. If it sells RM you must remove from all RF sites. Until it sells at someplace you can offer with both license.

Wrong.
The contract stipulates:
"2.2
You cannot submit identical or similar images to Alamy as both Royalty
Free and Rights Managed. The licence type on Alamy for an image must be the same as the licence type for that image and similar images which you have on other agency websites."

Wrong, Alamy answered once before, you can license until one has sold, then must be removed.

I think these are the wrong threads you linked to (and very old, from 2008 and 2011!) - I don't see any Alamy responses there.
I believe there was an official Alamy post here more recently, which said that you could submit RF files (which had never sold) to Alamy as RM, provided you deleted them from everywhere you were selling them as RF.
Also, even if a file had sold as RF, you could deactivate them and subsequently could sell the same file as RM, provided the buyer didn't want any sort of exclusive rights (requests for exclusivity being very unusual on Alamy).

But still, the contract says they can't be offered simultaneously as RF and RM, and legally that will trump anything written here.
http://www.alamy.com/terms/contributor.asp (2.2 as quoted above).

Add I can do anything I want if they don't know. Alamy doesn't check and doesn't care. I can't do an exclusive or rights buy if photo has been sold RF, unless I ask the Alamy buyer and tell them it has been sold before. I think you need to open your brain to change Sue.

That's what I said, Flower; except that I didn't  advocate breaking the terms of the contract.
