Nitpicking but these packs are of two (or ten) images, and the OP specifically asked for price of a single image.

Quite likely on an artist-direct site.

https://www.microstockman.com/thpstock-direct/

These are made for single use purchases, rather than subscriptions, which is what the agencies thrive on.

No credits.  I think a S is 3 an M is 7 and a L is 15.

Maybe in the past. They only have a credit system now.

Nitpicking? No not at all quite right  :)

However I'd rather see someone buy an image for a reasonable amount than get one and pay pennies for it.

$10 a piece is not an unreasonable amount

The question is about a single image, so your link is irrelevant. Cheapest single image on Alamy is $20, with limited usage.

Apologies to all previous, but, should't first question be:

"what kind / subject of image?"

Ah, sorry, you're right.  I just remember trading my credits for images and just thought they used a cash system otherwise.

Man, all these places are terrible.  There's no easy way to just buy one image.  On the micros at least.

On the front page of revolucy.com it says "You can even download just 1 image. We don't force you to buy more than you need."

I think Adobe is only $10 ... If you can track down creator they'd probably go for a couple bucks even. Sure beats the quarter that we get from agencies.

You've got to be really desperate to sell a single image to a buyer who's keen on buying your image. I wouldn't go below 20 and even 20 is giving it away cheap.

Depends on the photo, me $10 for a photo, depending on the use, or $5 for an illustration. Full size, the whole size for a price issue is dead. Print publication Editorial images $20, with name credit.

Seeing as how we get quarters from subscription sales :/ I don't really care. In fact, if they took the time to track me down and everything I'd be more apt to give it to them for a decent price and undercut the competition.

Hi gang. New to this site and stock photography having been a professional photographer since 2000. But researching agencies to go with I looked at depositphotos and moved on when I saw they had images that were literally free. I couldn't believe it so just to see I downloaded one. A food pic. Sure enough. I may have created a login but I certainly hadn't bought a package.

Suffice it to say I moved on.
