1. Select video thumbnails.
2. Upload editorial.

Both are on my list and I think you'll get both of them.

Of the two, I think editorial is much more impactful to contributors and customers.

Thanks for the feedback.

Plus One on ODesigns post and Dennis's feedback. I can't see much good news around at the moment in microstock video and AdobeStock is the only one showing any signs of growth for me. As only a small part of my portfolio is usable as commercial, that growth is limited at the moment. I would love to contribute soft editorial video to Adobe sometime soon.

These two would be great. The thumbnail one has been a while coming but Editorial Footage with unreleased people etc would be excellent 👍🏻

Yes, proper editorial images would be high up there... wasn't sure if he wanted to hear about that or just footage. The existing illustrative editorial is ok but not quite the same as normal news/editorial content that will often include unreleased people.

One or more webminar  (like the ones you've already did) about the right and useful keywords to use for video would be really helpful!
Learning more about what exactly buyers use, words and sentence, to reach what they are looking for, this would be a great help.
Thanks

Q&A with the team that manages the AS search engine would be useful too :)

My thoughts in no particular order:
1. Ability to pick a thumbnail at the time of upload / later
2. Seeing how many times items from a particular collection sold (and for how much)- something like SS already does: "Collection XYZ; 300 files, 15 sales, 297,74$ total"
3. Better way for batch editing keywords / titles on clips that are already online (ability to update them via CSV) and title/keyword database reindexing every X months / once a year (now from what I know even if we edit keywords, change their placement it does absolutely nothing- correct me if I'm wrong)
4. 2/3 warnings before an account gets blocked for uploading "simillar files"- it seemed like a big problem few months earlier here on the forums.
5. Analytics!!!1 (what searches, words made the sale, item views etc.)

That's great to hear regarding editorial, but will it be restricted to "no people" like the stills (hopefully that will open up to include people as well)?

1. open up the template market, right now the mogrt templates look very outdated and unprofessional.
2. more traffic. whatever it is you're doing, it's not enough.
3. thumbnails, yes, maybe if every person insists on it, you will finally get to it (should've been the first thing)
4. subscription option. (personally hate it, but its impossible now when shutterstock, pond5, envato & istockphoto are selling it for nothing)

We don't need any subscriptions!!! Adobe like ss is doing pretty well without it..

Hi Dennis! Best wishes for a good year with health and profits :)

Here is an odd one: While you was not around MSG had some problems loading or with bandwidth or whatever the problem was.
I mean that it would be great for Adobe to make some better St forum.
I don't contribute to AS but I like to read many agencies forums.
Adobestock one is quite just a "list" with mixed customer problems and contributors questions.
Yes many of them are answered by "experts" or "stuff" but in order to be informed on "something" you have to search for "it".

:)

My SS account sells daily 2-5 videos. My pond5 sells daily 1 video at least.
My Adobe stock account sells 2-4 videos a month.
Is this a lack of advertising? I am not a pro in the other side of how this business works, but I would say that the best investment in your contributors is to attract the clients.

I'm in the same boat as Rasika.  SS is selling circles around AS.  Why?

Great feedback, I will definitely pass that on.  We do have a webinar scheduled for February, but I don't know the topic off hand.

1 - Wholly disagree!  Our templates look awesome and honestly if I didn't believe that, I'd cop to it.  Mogrts as a whole are doing awesome and answer a distinct need in the market.  That said, we do need one key feature and I've pushed for it and hope we get it this year.  We'll see.
2 - Traffic is good, but agree.  If you can have more, we want it as much as you.
3 - Agreed
4 - Whole different conversation!

You can message me your account Id and I can take a look into it.  Why some people do better or worse on one site or another over a month or a year is always going to be a mystery.  Generally, I think that most contributors are seeing growth from Adobe, though certainly not all.

Send me your number or email via DM and I'll try to take a look for you.

I love Adobe and want it to grow, I would like a better lightbox setup where we can make selections better have have more of them. I agree with all what is stated above. I would love to see more creative advertising as well, do something different. I am thrilled that you do advertise and that would be my main push is to get more buyers.

Yes, definitely there are strange patterns with some changes made on Adobe side - days of sales or many sales on same day followed with longer periods without any... please don`t change and experiment with logarithms frequently, because we feel it every time(and not in good way...)... I`m with people who need that thumbnail change option for video and video preview with mouse over option will be fine, like there was on Fotolia... when editing keywords or re-ordering them after approval, it will be fine to have that preview when doing lot of changes to old files...

Sorry, maybe not quite in the topic, but I have one request: Could you please make a mobile app where we can track our earnings on the go and which keeps us up to date on our latest downloads. Greatly appreciate knowing you guys are here to help us.  :)

Actually, I am a HUGE proponent of making a mobile app both for contributing and for monitoring sales, releases, everything.  We have all of the technology necessary, but as with anything, it's a question of which priorities come first.

Trust me on this when I say that I really want this request to come true and I believe it will in time.

Thanks,
Dennis
