Hola, saludos.

Me, I must have the option to delete an image submitted for examination. Before the examiner evaluates the file, I must be able to delete it. If this option exists, make it easier for you to see.

As for the options of the words, congratulations to the developers, however, it has the possibility of some improvement, according to my feeling. I will develop it in a public article soon some details with examples and I will send you the link.

Meanwhile, I settle for an answer.
Is it possible to post and place the images on the portfolio by their date of approval, not by their date of loading, as well as their age in the approval, not the load?

Tenebroso
Thank you

Success and profitability also this year for you.

Thanks for the feedback. That's not the kind of editorial I meant although it is great that you have opened up to upload those. I was focusing on the "travel" editorial images and footage (real life) Hope that this will also come along at some point.

Editorial still images and footage would be awesome.

1. Select video thumbnails.
2. Upload editorial.

Both are on my list and I think you'll get both of them.

Of the two, I think editorial is much more impactful to contributors and customers.

Thanks for the feedback.

My SS account sells daily 2-5 videos. My pond5 sells daily 1 video at least.
My Adobe stock account sells 2-4 videos a month.
Is this a lack of advertising? I am not a pro in the other side of how this business works, but I would say that the best investment in your contributors is to attract the clients.

You can message me your account Id and I can take a look into it.  Why some people do better or worse on one site or another over a month or a year is always going to be a mystery.  Generally, I think that most contributors are seeing growth from Adobe, though certainly not all.

Send me your number or email via DM and I'll try to take a look for you.

Dennis

I don't believe there is any issue with my account.
My SS and AS accounts both have the same content. About 15k aerial videos and timelapses/hyperlapses from all around the world. But in 3+ years my AS account sold 2000$ overall, while my SS account is selling the same amount in an average month.
Of course there are much worse stocks then AS, but I left those years ago. And AS just keeps me frustrated, I ask myself again and again, does it even worth keeping uploading to AS content, because I am waiting for a long time that AS will start kicking, and actually there was a small period that my AS account sold almost daily, but for some reason this stopped almost completely and again I am back to have a sale once a week or two, or even less.
Can this be related with investing in promotion?

The same with my friends account, who started selling content about 2 years ago. He have something like 500 videos in his portfolio, and his SS account is selling 300-400$ a month, pond5 around 250$, while his AS account haven't ever sold a single clip and it exists for over a year now.

1. Select custom thumbnail for video
2. For the rank counter, make video downloads count at least double/triple as much as an image download, as video sales are less frequent (where is the ranking displayed by the way, can't find it?)

Yes it is really weird that for the rank video count the same. I would say they would be a minimum 10x-100x to be fair. By my numbers photos sale at least 50x the number of videos.

for some reason its the same here, same portfolio in 4 different websites.
Sales are decent on P5 and SS, but hardly existent in Adobe Stock.
Mat says "You need more videos" , but its a lame excuse.
If someone can sell the same videos 40 - 50 monthly, in Pond5, Shutterstock & Envato,
It's you guys @ adobe who are doing something wrong with the ranking algorithms.

1 - Wholly disagree!  Our templates look awesome and honestly if I didn't believe that, I'd cop to it.  Mogrts as a whole are doing awesome and answer a distinct need in the market.  That said, we do need one key feature and I've pushed for it and hope we get it this year.  We'll see.

I've tried to argue that forcing "responsive time" on each and every template is the wrong thing to do, as I try to provide the ability to adjust various timing elements in my templates, but I keep getting shut down.  I'd like responsive time to be used where it's appropriate and attributes to adjust timing where it makes it a more flexible template.

For example... If I have some live action video as an element, and a title that appears over it, I'd like to provide an attribute to say what frame the title appears, or how long it takes to appear.  Using responsive time, scaling the .mogrt down in Premiere, would make the live video run faster, which isn't the desired effect.  That's sort of a generic example.

Hi Dennis, Payoneer integration would be a nice thing to have. 1% less commissions on money transfers, a meaningful amount for some people with big portfolios and/or small pockets.

One or more webminar  (like the ones you've already did) about the right and useful keywords to use for video would be really helpful!
Learning more about what exactly buyers use, words and sentence, to reach what they are looking for, this would be a great help.
Thanks

Q&A with the team that manages the AS search engine would be useful too :)

My thoughts in no particular order:
1. Ability to pick a thumbnail at the time of upload / later
2. Seeing how many times items from a particular collection sold (and for how much)- something like SS already does: "Collection XYZ; 300 files, 15 sales, 297,74$ total"
3. Better way for batch editing keywords / titles on clips that are already online (ability to update them via CSV) and title/keyword database reindexing every X months / once a year (now from what I know even if we edit keywords, change their placement it does absolutely nothing- correct me if I'm wrong)
4. 2/3 warnings before an account gets blocked for uploading "simillar files"- it seemed like a big problem few months earlier here on the forums.
5. Analytics!!!1 (what searches, words made the sale, item views etc.)

Some good requests there - can't disagree with any of them and almost all are ones that we're looking into for the future.

Thanks for the feedback.

Dennis

Right, I hear you.  Let me know what your account is so I can take a look and potentially offer some input.  There are understandably a ton of variables.  If you let me know your account, I can at least take a look and perhaps offer some feedback on why you trail as compared to others.

Thanks,
Dennis

you're "offering feedback" based on account?!?!
grow up man, take responsibility, there's 3 different contributors here who share the same story.
You're trying to flip it on us.
We don't need your feedback, we are doing great in other marketplaces.

Look into your data, your search algorithms, then look at your competitors, and give yourself honest feedback.
(This applies to your perception of the amazing templates AS has, for real!? did you ever look at VideoHive / Pond5 ?!
Adobe Stock Templates are mediocre, so lame.
But hey, don't trust my opinion, Do a survey , ask your users, ask your friends, are you willing to listen to what they'll tell you? or will you ask them for their accountID too?.
Heck, even Template Monster, Storyblocks and MotionArray have better templates for sale)

It feels as if you're here on these forums only to impress your superiors in their cubicles...

Ranking video sales and other file sales with same criteria is not helping at all...

Issues? Opportunities?
Reading embedded metadata directly from video files, like Pond5 does, will be great.

Subscribe that. Reading Metadata should be as easy as with images. All those excel spreadsheets are a XIX century thing.

This please!

Also, are you looking for quality or quantity of uploads? I've made plenty of sales, but not enough uploads so I didn't get the code for free Creative Cloud. I did manage to get the $500 or so that was necessary a year before, but last year you only went for quantity (number of uploads) I do animations and those are a lot of work, so less uploads but more sales.

50% max royalty to support artists would be nice to lead the industry and pressure Shutterstock to pay more share.

If this happens I would just stop uploading every other stock site (except Shutterstock).  ;)

Wow, turned on the flames....  No worries...

I think what I'm trying to do here is stay connected and provide input where I can.  Being on any forum is a bit of a scattered approach (and I say this as a person who has frequented forums for nigh on 2 decades.)  Do I need to do this for my superiors?  Heck, no.

My answers are kindly meant and to be helpful.  Sorry that you don't think so.

Do we look into data, search, etc.  Yes, every day.  Do I look at my competitors?  Yes, every day.

Can I please everyone?  Clearly not, but I'll keep trying.  8)

Responding to a few responses on this one and will still be relatively brief.

The challenge is that many people have different workflows (across contributors, agencies, etc.) and to make a change in workflow truly effective, everyone needs to get behind it.

I love embedded metadata and do advocate for it for video.  Adobe created XMP which is a flexible system that includes standard schemas like EXIF and IPTC which is where photos draws some support.

While I agree that CSVs are the lowest common denominator, they still work and are accepted across the industry.  For that reason alone, I think CSV's are probably still around for a while.  However, there are voices advocating for more embedded metadata.

Thanks for the feedback.

Dennis

Ditto on editorial, both still and video. You're missing a huge market.
