Hi! Does anyone know what you earn from Artlist/Artgrid selling videos and sound effects?

The income there is very good, but very few authors are accepted there.

i recieved a proposition from them to be part of their stock this is what they propose :

Royalties

We calculate your share of royalties from the Artlist Footage earning pie. Your cut is 30% of the net revenue from subscription fees, based on the downloads you got from users and compared to all artists in the Footage pie.

The value of the royalties depends on the users subscription type and total downloads.

The royalties get distributed once a year, beginning in December.

It's strange, according to the opinion of one author, they pay like every month.

I think Artlist and Artgrid are the same organisation with separate sites for different contents.

Below is a copy-and-paste of a post I made in January. If you want to see what this guy claims about selling stock footage on Artgrid, cue to the 3.00 minute mark on the Youtube video.

_______________

Was just watching the youtube video linked below where for his total earnings in 2022 made $5114.90.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55OrbEIfXBM

But what  piqued my curiosity was not his total earnings but the breakdown on different agencies:

- Pond5: $72.54
- Adobe Stock: $97.30
- Livestock: $403.11 (First I've heard of this agency)
- Artgrid: $4541.95

Has me thinking if Artgrid might be a place worth applying for and opening a new contributor account.

Anyone have experience with Artgrid? Do they only provide earnings statements and payout once a year? Or can you see what you're selling and earning throughout the year?

Pacesetter, as you can see, the income is good on Artgrid. But they dont take me there, I dont fit them in quality. Apply, I think 99% that you will not fit either. And if suddenly they take you, then you will ask questions whether it is worth shipping there or not.
As for lightstock (so correct to write), I created a topic here on the forum, no one answered. This is some kind of religious stock, perhaps anyone can ship there, perhaps there is income there.
