Dec was down a bit for me compared to Nov. I had one BME, at FT.

Earning percentages (last month's in parens):
IS 38% (41%)
SS 21% (24%)
FT 15% (10%)
DT 12% (12%)
StockXpert 5% (5%)
BigStock 5% (2%)
123 3% (5%)

Sales on Veer & 3DS, but not enough to climb above 0%.  :(

     8% FT                 = BME                        (202   images)   w/ EL
     6% DT                 = BME                        (225   images)
6% StockXpert                = BME                      (  301  images)   lots of jupiterimages sales

From your charts I can see at least one of the reasons of why you would be on the exclusive fence Lisa  ...

Dec Sales (Alamy and PM = Zero)

I suppose this will explain some of my attitudes towards certain agencies?  ;D

This could be titled how statistics lie, but it was fun making a pie chart for the year.

Next year, only the top five will get new files.

This is my stock photography sales statistic for December 2009. You can find a complete list of stock photography agencies that I work with here (http://stock.hlehnerer.com/SA.html).

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for December 2009:

1. Shutterstock (http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=169666)
2. Fotolia (http://us.fotolia.com/partner/200552086)
3. DepositPhotos (http://depositphotos.com/)
4. StockXpert (http://www.stockxpert.com/)

December had as always a decrease to November, but this year it was higher with 41% compared to November. Overall 2009 was a very good year with more then doubling the revenue compared to 2008. It was the best month ever for Scandinavian Stock Photo (http://www.scanstockphoto.com/), Graphic Leftover (http://graphicleftovers.com/ref=hlehnerer/), and DepositPhotos (http://depositphotos.com/).

Not to rain on the parade of these pretty piecharts, but how much use is this unless people post the size of their port at each agency, and how long they've been there?

I've got about 1,100 images everywhere except IS (920) and have been with everyone since 2005 except agencies created after then.

Got a 100% increase over december 2008 with Shutterstock leading the pack

Hi All,

Percentages are cool and all but like another poster said if you don't add in a few other factors it doesn't really tell us much. If you add number in collection, how long you have been with collection, your average return per sale at each of these collections then there would be some great info here.
When I see a photographer has had an increase of 40% at a new agency does that mean that he made 40 cents last month and a dollar this month. I am happy to share pertinent information if others will join in. That way we can get an idea of what companies are really paying out for their photographers. And what image sizes are really selling best at each agency.

Best,
Jonathan
