Title: Delete a file on iStock?

Dear all,
Can someone explain me why I cannot delete some of my approved picture?
Or how to?

You can't because they won't let you.
If you have a "strong legal reason", you can ask them to delete them for you.

Ask them to close your account, they usually do that promptly. Then open a new one and upload everything again except that one picture.

I was just sarcastic. Their policy about this matter is just crazy. But, a long time ago I sold exclusive rights to one of my pictures with another agency. And Istock had to remove it. This other agency advised how to approach them, I didn't know. So, if it is only one or few files, you can tell them that you sold exclusive rights for the picture. But ShadySue summed it up nicely - strong legal reason.

Simply open a support ticket (https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Help/SupportTicket (https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Help/SupportTicket)), choose "File Editing" and fill out the fields. You'll have to give a reason why you want to delete a file.
