Title: Deleting accounts/ports
Post by: trabuco on January 19, 2021, 04:31
Hi.

What about a guide to deleting accounts and ports? I have read issues with this in several agencies. Maybe we can post our feedback in one topic to know well the problems in some agencies.

Me:

- Pond 5. Easy and fast.
- 123RF. Easy and fast. I had no pictures online in this one, just the account. Had deleted them before.
- Istock. Easy. Pictures selling for several months but I got all my royalties.

Maybe could be useful for those who want to become exclusive in one agency or for newbies as a warning before submitting to those companies.

Pond5: I deleted the images and was easy just that you need to contact support.

Dreamstime: They don't want you to delete them and you have to wait some time to delete all the port. They take the remain money on account.

YAYImages, you can close your account by messaging them or delete images from your contributor dashboard, but they will keep selling them.

If you can get a response they will claim they will delete them "soon"

DT 90 Days maybe a bit more but they did pay me what was owed. New TOS they keep the money if it's not $100 or more. I thought they handled it very well and within the promised terms.
