Title: digital "cool light" system

any of you guys hae any recommendations for a 3-4 light system uder $1000? (links helpful)

I think you're going to have to go with a low wattage Interfit system, but you aren't going to get much light. http://www.adorama.com/PAINT446.html

If you're stuck with that budget, I'd go with a two light set.

i read the article from litifeta. sounds incredible, even for chinese made (no offense meant).
but it's not 110 for North Am, and like someone else mentioned. you don't know how long these companies will last. you could end up having a "betamax".

Excuse Me! I still have two Betamax machines.  ;D (only way to copy my old Beta collection to DVD when I get inspired.)

racephoto, yur betamax could be worth money as a musuem piece  ;D
who knows you might get paid enough to buy the new DVD super blue-xxx whatnot!
