Title: Do you Buzz?
Post by: melastmohican on February 11, 2010, 14:52
Do we need another social networking engine?

I hate it that right now everytime I log into the gmail account I get the stupid buzz promo. IMO, no we don't need another. And just please let me get my mail and be done with things.

What is buzz? If it's something like Twitter, no thanks. All I got on Twitter in the end was messages from photographers what great pictures they just uploaded and where. As if I care. No more spam machines and referral hunters, thanks. Same goes for facebook. Buyers don't read all those anyways.

Nope.

As mentioned, twitter seems to be a way for most people to sit around and backslap each other, and post links to other people's works.

Yeah, got tired of looking at it, so I said ok. Now it's a menu item under my inbox that I can ignore.

Last time I buzzed it was bugs in my pants.  :o  Or maybe my finger in a radio that was still plugged into the wall?

I quit Twitter long time ago. The most useless profile website I have seen yet. I guess I will still get surprised with new ones in the future  ;)

What is even better - you can hide it in your settings :)

Looks like it has some privacy issues...
