Title: Do you use accompanying CSV with images? Is there a standard?

Do any of you ever have corresponding text or csv files with your images as an alternative to metadata? If so, is there a standard practice in how they correspond?

I don't see the point of doing something like this.

What additional information (besides what is already in the metadata) do you need to send with the file?

Its for a project I am doing. I wanted to know if anyone uses them. I've seen mention of such a workflow among people and agencies.

OK. Well, for what  it's worth, I don't. I also don't know anyone who does.

Although I"m sort of interested if anyone does and why.

Cheers.
