Title: Does anyone have nay experience of these guys? PicsaStock
Post by: ethan on May 19, 2014, 13:38
Got an email today (that (no fault of theirs) went into my Spam folder as follows:

Hi,
I am an artist scout for PicsaStock and I saw your images.
I wanted to let you know that I think your photography is stunning and have high potential to be sold.
PicsaStock is looking for photography like yours to help build worlds best authentic image platform. This awesome project will provide a place where you can earn 50% commission from each photograph downloaded, retain full copyrights and be able to sell your work elsewhere through a non-exclusive licence. we also can provide FTP access and metadata import if you have big amounts of work.
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks for your time.

I have been on their site (a little under-whelmed I have to say) but rather than make a quick decision ( like my recent rejection of two similar invites from MostPhoto's) thought I should cast my net further afield and garnish a general opinions from fellow phototogs that might have an opinion or some recent/relevant experience with Picastock?.

Frankly, until now, I have never heard of them :)

Subscriptions seems regular and ok.
But dont like the "Standard License" prices. very low for full resolution.

50 Downloads
$100
means 2$ to buy
and only 1$ you earn for a full resolution.  :-\
I see that right?  :-\

They say only 10 uploads/week because they emphasize quality over quantity.

Well, I emphasize earning over wasting time.

Stockfresh and Crestock are doing great with similar limits ;D

Is there any more information regarding this agency? Received an email from them, but they are not even registered on the poll here.

Just got a mail from them. I love the 50% cut but is it worth the effort

Their income (pricing) offer is really poor, I don't know why even bother with it? Another WOT agency.
