I think that sums up the cons of DPC completely.

Those who have been persuaded to stay with the program have probably been given a boost in the Fotolia search results as a reward

While this is possible, I believe that the rise of sales at FT that some people have reported are not related to that.
My sales at FT in July were the best since March 2012 (both in number of sales and in Euros).
And I am opted out of DPC.
So at least it feels like I was not punished for opting out.

I wouldn't believe anyone telling me that they can draw any kinds of reasonable conclusions about whether DPC has an impact on sales elsewhere yet. Good or bad. It's just too soon.

Talk to me in January and I might listen. Until then, no way there is any good data yet.
