Title: Download the own images from istock / shutterstock / generally?
Post by: saschadueser on April 03, 2016, 02:08
Is there even a possibilty to downlload the OWN images, youve uploaded on istock, and on shutterstock in the past?

I just realized, i deleted many, many images from my computer, and would like to get them back.

Mostphotos allow this if you happen to be with them. The other not sure - best ask them and explain I reckon

Just use DP. Apparently you are selling over there. They allow the download of your own images.

If you are uploading to DT they will often send you the images in a case like that.
SS are very unhelpful.  I wanted a particular image from them of a family member and they sent it in a size not much bigger than a thumbnail with strict instructions not to upload it anywhere else. I don't know what site they thought would except such a low res image.

Not much from those 2. This is also a security plus if somebody hacks your account, or they could download your entire collection, with keywords and start selling, make free. You can get everthing from Mostphoto of your own.

A few years back - maybe 4-5 years ago - I had lost a coupe of images and got them from SS with no problem. They were very helpful at the time. Sorry to hear things have changed.
