Dreamstime changed the uploading process. It's worst than it was before. It's not working. This whole microstock system is going to the pits. I will leave them Thanks

I uploaded a few files yesterday using the new interface and it appeared to work OK. Because it was only 4 files I used the web upload not FTP, so it's possible there's a problem with FTP I wouldn't know about
If I remember correctly, Dreamstime is one of the sites that will not pay out on account closure if you're under $100, so bear that in mind if you're thinking about closing your account

I still get the unfinished tab bug, it won't clear despite I finished submitting, but it's a minor annoyance.
I upload using FTP, works as it used to, still need to wait for processing depending on image size and quantity, there's a progress bar now but it doesn't seem to move lol.

Nothing worked on Firefox yesterday, I switched to Chrome and uploaded 19 files, online, then I ignored them until this morning, all there and fine.
Upload button still doesn't work on FF I think it's something normal for me for many sites. Javascript is disabled.
ps I did another upload, Chrome, when I switched back to Firefox, all the images were there ready to edit. Whoever said just do a browser refresh could have the simple answer.

i use filezila w no problems, then go to DT site & submit as batches - no need for categories, etc

upload works but why dreamstime make harder and harder to submit content, why can't we have batch file model release?

i don't have releases, but their process for editorial should be the default everywhere - if an image isnt accepted as commercial they review it for editorial automatically - and you can submit an entire batch at once if you don't care about (useless) categories

at all other sites you can select more then one image to batch edit them and put release on all of them at once.
All of my images have releases and are not for editorial usage so now i have to select one image, check add model release, click on "+" sign, sort by date (wait a second for sorting to display), select your release, click done (wait a second) and that is for whole batch of 50-70-100 images in the row. It's much worst than any other site.
It would be all good if they display latest attached release under image but no, they display latest accepted release, not attached release, so they are good only if you put same model images every day/week.
Not only that, I don't know if it's even possible to search new release if it hasn't got any image attached to them. (well because it's new)

Submission is easy, I just can't get Javascript to work in FF to click the upload button now. So I have to go to Chrome. Other then that, they seem to be reviewing fast and the data is read right, categories self populate, and I leave them as is, even when wrong, because I honestly don't care.
Now about more sales? :) That would be an improvement for me.

I seem to have the same problem as Pete. Clicking the upload button won't do anything. :( Neither in Firefox nor IE. Don't have Chrome.
Edit: Just figured out that if I resize my internet browser tab and oben a tab with the folder with my photos next to it, I can actually drag images into the upload field and that works. But I am not sure it was meant to only work like this?

Works in Chrome, does not work in Firefox.

Mine does not work in chrome. Dreamstime should have been putting their energy in changing the payout from $100 down to $30.00. Oh no they don't care about us.. Even when thousands are jobless and getting scared not knowing if they are a family member will be the next one to die from Covid--19. Like Bobby Mcferrin said--"Don't worry, be happy". This can't work now in these times--Oscar Williams

i find FileZilla ftp easier than uploading using each site's quirky software - plus it's one site - i set up X uploads at one time and go on to do something useful
-
Sorry Dreamstime about the misunderstanding about the new interface. I got it to work on chrome. I like it.--Oscar Williams.

pathetic upload system... taking too much time
-
It probably has to do with images ending up overprocessed and sharpened to hell and back, hence processing taking so much time.

I spoke too soon. This morning it's not working again. Come on Dreamstime, Get your act together. Plus I'm using Chrome as I did when it worked.--Oscar Williams
