I know some of the folks are making a killing on DT this month but I had my worst month in over a year! I mean I dropped off the face of the earth- Has anyone else had poor sales this month as well?

Yep - 4 images licensed total.

Worst month since November 2005... back when I had 22 images total online.

How many pics do you have on DT?

Hasn't been as good as some other months, but in my case that seems to be true for all sites.  Even SS is down from March.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  DT were rolling out a lot of new stuff. Site may have been down for short intervals, or not operating at peak.   Things will settle into place over the next couple of weeks IMO.

I was having a fairly good month until late last week, then only two downloads since April 25th including today.  This is highly unusual and quite disturbing.  DT has never been a huge performer for me, but I could always count on at least two downloads a day.  I average about 100 downloads a month with a little over 500 images.  Summer slowdown starting early?

???

I have a lot of level 4 and 5 pics on DT, and normally do very well there.

April was a good month for me on DT until the price structure change was rolled out last Friday.  There is a clear line in my DT sales where you see my sales fall off the face of the Earth.  If this keeps up, they will probably go from being my #4 seller to #8 or #9.  Very discouraging.

March was a surprising BME (had an EL plus someone bought a series of 22 images at $3-5 a piece), so I expected a drop this month.  And surprisingly again, it didn't drop nearly as much as anticipated.  Instead of returning to my monthly average, I'm having my 4th BME.  So for me at least, I haven't seen a decrease in sales.

What type of sales volume do you normally have, if you don't mind me asking?  And do you have many level 4 or 5 images?  There's a theory going around that the veterans with lots of 4 and 5 pics are really suffering from the recent change, and others are benefiting from our pics being priced unattractively for many buyers.  Add in the fact that newer images may be getting preference in searches, and the veterans are really getting clobbered by the "new" DT.

50% drop in downloads, 30% in earnings compared to March for me. It's partially caused by (almost) zero days when "best selling images first" was default (the poor stay poor, the rich get richer). But RPD went up significantly after change in levels so I'm curious what will happen next months.

Same earnings as usual for me this month.

After a bad March (down 40%), April is back up to February's level.  Amusingly enough, that was helped by (I assume) one customer who bought 13 images from the same shoot.  I wonder how much more often that would happen if DT weren't so doctrinaire about rejecting multiple images of the same subject from the same shoot.

The first week pf April was great, then it dropped off to very little - only subs since then and not many of those.  Worst month there since last fall.

I just sent an email to support today...not that I'm expecting any kind of answer, just felt good to send it. I haven't had a download in 5 days. That is VERY unusual. Either they thought I was making too much money and buried me at the bottom of the sh$tpile, or something is really wrong with their sales reporting.

I'm a vet myself with images mostly created 3-6 years ago.  Haven't uploaded much the past three years.  About 1/10th of my portfolio of 2300 images are in the 4-5 range.

Normally I don't share my numbers, but I'm baffled as to why my sales improving while so many others are seeing significant decreases.  April 2011, I sold 113 images and earned $138.11.  March 2012, I sold 112 images (one less) and earned $248.42 (1 EL @ $35).  That's a huge difference in earnings in only a year.  October 2011, I sold 88 images and earned $150.04.  This month, so far I've also sold 88 images, but have earned $177.43...a $27.39 increase.  December 2011, I sold 77 images and earned $102.05.  Two months later in February, I sold 76 images (one less) and earned $135.51...a $33.46 increase.

I dunno what DT did, but it sure seems to be working for me!

What they did was, they got rid of their weekly subscription plan, so that may be it.

I have a few level 4 and 5 images and I've seen a massive drop in sales this month.  Then again, it's been a slow month across all sites so it will be interesting to see what May brings in.

My month sucked at DT. I went 4 weeks without a sale. Granted, I have a small portfolio.  But, I haven't had a drought like that in about 18 months. Something defintely changed for the worse for me. I've had a sale 2 days in a row now, though, so I'm hopeful.

Okay, I am starting to worry.  Today's sales, like Fridays, are about 1/3 of normal.

I've had consistent sales at Dreamstime for 7 years.  Something is definitely amiss.  '

To those reporting vastly improved sales, it would seem to suggest the search engine has been shaken so that different people are in front.

I think you're right.  When I was gathering my numbers, I noticed that I will have like six months in a row in the 115 sales range, and then the next six or so months will be in the 85 sales range.  It's been going on for a couple of years now.

my sales at DT started slowly in April, but then in the last 2 weeks pulled back to the average slow trend upwards i've seen over the last 2 years

I am seeing much lower volume the last few days.  I was optimistic of the new levels in that I've now got a lot of level 3-5 stuff, but sales need to pick up to take advantage of it.  My April was within a few dollars of March; sales were down noticeably (70% of March) but RPD was up to compensate so my revenue was even.  I agree with LisaFx that it is early in the new scheme.  Fingers are crossed that this is just a slow 4 days for some reason.  A month and we'll have a much better idea of the impact of the pricing changes...

I ended April with only 4 sales- the lowest amount in over a year! They were my 2nd best MS company but now number 10...
