"...the EXPLORE Act will no longer require photographers or videographers to get filming permits because they may be paid for the footage or images." The group has to be six or fewer people and has to be in an area where people are allowed in the parks.

during the 2013 govt shutdown, NP were closed. a state hwy runs thru Zion so that road was still open - however rangers wouldn't let us stop at viewpoints (or anywhere) to take pictures!

Whatever else is going wrong in America, I've always admired the way they care for their National Parks.
