As it seems I can do what I want (Question about licenses), this is what I need. I hope you guys have it so I can buy them from you instead of strangers.

This collaboration site at work will be a mix of a blog (for news and discussions) and a document repository (presentations, articles, links).  The subject (subjects in fact): Sustainability and Knowledge Management.

So, I want to create an entry screen and for it I want to create an image with:
- a head open on top (for this I believe a 3D render would be best, but I will consider photos as well)
- stacks of books, notebooks (paper, not laptops), documents, CDs
- for sustainability, I want to avoid the classic "tree on hand" or "tree on Earth" image; maybe a green footprint, but having a footprint and a head together looks od to me; in our case we are more into energy effciency (using less energy in our process plants), but not alternative sources, so no wind turbines.

Not quite so, I want full view images, not tight closeups. Ideally, those subjects together (books, notebooks, etc).

Thanks for your help.

Hi Leaf,

The books with CD might be one, but not the others. Thank you.

Oh, and for the Earth...

I know it's much like classic tree from the Earth, but with some little difference

Had to look for the word "sustainability" in a dictionary first - next time I shoot a globe it'll be one of my keywords  ;D

One of these might be usable, though I don't think you'll like my stack of books, cause they're antique.  The frog pics might be ok.

Can we see the end result of your project?

Thank you all for your replies.

Gaja, the skull is a good image, but if we want our most experienced engineers share their knowledge, I don't want to imply they are next to the grave and we want their brains.  ;D

For the stack of books image, Leaf's is still the best choice, because it mixes books and CDs. It is important to show that the company's knowledge is found in paper (books/notebooks/binders, not paper files though) and electronic documents and in people's minds.

As for sustainability, as I said in our context is not about using alternate energy sources or planting trees, but about using our knowledge and our competences to reduce energy consumption in our processing plants.

Maybe these clarifications give a better idea of what I want to transmit.

Anyka, I will post the final design here.

OK, mine wouldn't work then. Thanks for clarifying. I appreciate that you are posting here first, though.

cclapper,

I'm happy with what I've seen here, because it made me visualize better what I need. The sustainability part is the more difficult, because it's more of a concept.

Another thing: I want to use my own credits to buy images, so I would not but from SS or Yar or other sites, but from those whose links I have below.

 I see what you mean. Interesting project, looking forward to seeing the result. :)
How about a tree growing out of a head?

The engineer union in Norway did a similar campain, they used one of these trees inside a light bulb. That worked.
