Title: File Size for Buyers on Shutter
Post by: tab62 on December 05, 2012, 20:46
While looking at some of my files on Shutter I noticed that I don't have available the Super TIF. How is this determined? Will it effect my sales on a SOD or ED?

Here are the TIFF's size that they offer...
Enhanced License TIFF
Large
   4368x2912    14.6"x9.7" (300dpi)    36.4 MB
download
Super
   8736x5824    29.1"x19.4" (300dpi)    145.6 MB
download

I think the size of the enhanced TIFF is dependent on the size of the original Tom. One of my smaller images has a Lange TIFF at 21.5MB (3000x2058) and Super at 86MB (6000x5010).

As far as I know the SOD and ED's have to do with the usage and does not refer to the size of the image. So do not think it should hamper these sales.

Might be that the original is not large enough and that up-scaling the size above a certain percentage is not done/allowed by the system. Is it all or only some of your images?
