Has anyone else else had a huge increase in Fotolia views while their sales have decreased?

Yes, I have! I was getting sales most days but sales fell off when everyone else's did too. I barely get a sale at all now but I have lots of views. I was hoping they were going to be delayed sales that might show up later but it doesn't seem to be happening :/

Yes, huge increase in view last month. Decent sales though.
Sales have desappeared in all other agencies for me.
No wonder since p5 is giving clips away almost for free with their membership program, really killing the video market

That's the trend I observe since March. Not sure what it means though.

Yup me too and NO corresponding rise in sales.

They must have changed some metric for the views stats - renders them utterly meaningless.

Yeah same here, more views than usual, but sales for the last 10 days or so have been very poor.

I wonder if the increase in Fotolia views is due to Dollar Club closing and those newly converted ex DC members are being much more careful with how they spend their money because they are using the more expensive image paks. I do notice that RPI has increased as volume has gone down.

Could be the beginning of summer vacations?

I get more than 10 times more views on Fotolia than Pond5. Also more sales. But it makes sense since their library is so much smaller.

My views continue to increase while my sales stand still. It doesn't appear to be a temporary thing. It started shortly after Dollar Club closed.

Perhaps they did. It's possible they are more accurate now, I remember seeing sales with zero number of views. Blind dating of sorts. Is it possible?

Could be those purchased not directly from Fotolia site I'd guess..

Maybe they added the views from Adobe.
Even though sales have totally dried this month (I was very happy with Fotolia sales until May) I figure that at least views are useful to understand which of my clip have commercial potential. But I might be wrong

Adobe stock views were included in view statistics from the beginning. I had asked Fotolia about Adobe Stock views months ago before the recent spike in views and they said Adobe views were included in the statistics. Either way it's curious more then anything and sales are still down mostly due to U.S. buyers which I'm assuming is from the DC closing.

Sales this month are disasterous for me.

I checked my stats for the first 17 days from February to June. My May and June views for the first 17 days of the month are a little bit higher then from February to April.

But If my sales continue to be this poor, it's gonna be my worst month in more than a year. About 50% less, than my average monthly earnings this year.
