As usual im using FTP Zilla to upload images to ShutterStock.

Usually the amount of images i upload is short enough to process the queue in just "one upload", but currently due to low internet connection and largest amount of vector images being upload (vector images than actually needs two files to upload one image) i need to stop processing queue sometimes in order to being able to use internet for other proposes.

I thought that this did not generate any problem in the upload process, but actually it does.

I start to have some images refuses due to "File Transfer Error" issue, so i discover that when you are processing a queue of files in filezilla and you stop the process (stop processing the queue), the files was incompletely uploaded; thats means that if you stop processing a file when the file upload is 50% complete, half of the file is uploaded to shutterstock and deleted form queue, what results in a corrupt file on the server (SS).

My question is, is there any way to configurate FileZilla to:
1 - When you press "Stop Processing Queue" finish to process the files that are currently being upload before stop process
OR
2 - Dont remove files form queue and delete the incomplete uploaded files from server

Thank you for your help

PS. This is a question for Filezilla web site forum, but when i try to register in this forum they dont allow me becuse my email account is on Gmail and the forum show me a message that due to recent spam attack on forum using massive gmail account they dont allow anymore users to register using gmail account... then i create a yahoo mail account to being able to register in FZ forum and i get i new message that says that yahoo is the main email service using to send spam so register a new user with yahoo account is not allowed... so before creating hundreds of email accounts with different services to discover which one is allowed i prefer to ask here.

Odd, I just registered using a yahoo account.  :)

"Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation. An activation key has been sent to the email address you provided. Please check your email for further information and also be sure to check your junk mail box. It may take a while to get the email depending on your email provider."

So the question. Stopping a file transfer, I mean pausing, will create all kinds of problems with some sites. SS is one of them. If you were uploading one file to your own site, where there aren't hundreds of others accessing at the same time, it should work.

I don't understand why you don't just minimize the window and do what you need to, leave Filezilla ftp running?

I try to register again to FZ forum with yahoo account i get next message with red letters:
Yahoo is the world's #2 forum spam enabler. Yahoo DOES NOT assure the authenticity of its users! Please use a different mail provider.

Maybe spam is related to mail server and also the country you are... who knows...

Asking your question... actually with good internet connection i have no problems, as you say i can minimize FZ windows and keep working in other things with my computer, but usually i even dont need it because it just take a few minutes to upload the files, the problem is that now, due to some difficult to explain situation i have a 90's years internet connection performance  (i mean, extremely slow internet connection), so i need to stop the process in order to being able to use internet for other proposes

Yes you have my sympathy, my Internet stinks. I just suffer and let the uploads finish, or start the upload when I'm going to go out grocery shopping.  :)

copper wire bad, too far from the phone office, maybe four miles.

Sometimes I think I have less errors because my speed is so slow that the server can get everything without being pressed for their receiving speed.

Anyway, yes you are correct. If you pause, you will probably have a lost packet or connection and the site will just get garbage or stop receiving. Unfortunate but true.

Oddly enough, I haven't done this lately, but I can drive two miles to McDonald's, Arby's or someplace with free WiFi, sit and have a soda, upload on high speed Internet and come home again, faster than I can just sit here and watch the slow connection grind up a big set of files. Because of that, I seldom make big batch uploads anymore. 10-30 is just fine.

I dont feel alone anymore, i think that i was the last man in the world with this kind of internet connection.

Filezilla is everytime making updates to the software, i think they will be interested in improve the system by including the special pause option that:
Stop uploading new files in queue but not the ones that are currently being processed.

Im still trying to register in forum to being able to make a thread about this issue, but im unable to register there :(

May you Uncle Pete or anyother user who have user in FZ forums open a thread with a link to this forum thread or copy and paste my issue from this thread??

I can't login, said I was deactivated... I reset my account, now it says, your account has not been activated. The board is supposed to send an email, but none comes, checked the spam folder.

Also it advises me to contact a board administrator but there's no way to do that. I was going to post your question, but no way, maybe someone else can get through. Sorry about that.
