Well I just got this add in proposed on my facebook feed. One year of unlimited download from graphicstock.

I'll just leave it here since I'm really out of ideas to comment that in civil way... Maybe I just got it wrong, but I don't think so.

They can do what they like. They have licensed their files for unlimited distribution from their site for a one off payment.
I don't get how any contributor is desperate enough to go for such a terrible deal, but that's what you get.

Anyway, try searching for a file on there. They have very little useful content. I just did a few more searches and it's worse than I thought.

Yeah, you're right, and also their database is not very impressive. Still it's kind od depressing to see such promotions...

They're the graphics version of VideoBlocks.

Surprisingly, they have some of Monkey Business Images work:

In addition to $99 a year, they also offer a version for 6 people (subscriber plus 5 sub accounts) for $198...

I guess the limited library size/scope/quality will keep them largely out of our hair for the moment...

Has anybody else received an e-mail invitation to join GraphicStock Marketplace?  It looks like they are starting something new that will be launched in the fall and similar to Videoblocks except for stills where we would get 100% of the price.  It is not a one-time payment for unlimited downloads like it was previously but a payment per DL so seems OK as far as I can tell.  Their pricing I thought was a little low but not too bad so I don't see a down side, which makes me nervous.  Has anybody else looked into this or know more about it?  I'd like to make sure it seems OK before uploading (I have not looked into what the license states yet but will before pursuing it further).

I got that invitation too, have been discussing with them over e-mail on pricing and licensing terms. Pricing seems low, but at 100% is not too bad... But my first understanding of their licensing terms (not to be found on the site yet) is that a standard license includes some rights that elsewhere require an EL.
I asked them how to understand that, waiting for clarification.
That could be a deal breaker.
