Some the harshest, sadly most are true, comments that I’ve received while in the business that came from my mentors, other artists and family members
• You don’t make enough to even pay to recharge your batteries
• What were you thinking
• Nobody will buy that image
• Were you drunk
• OMG! Sell your camera because you suck
• An eight-year-old could’ve done better
• Spraying and Praying for just one good image
• You will never make even fifty dollars a month with your skills

Fortunately for me, I don't have any mentors, I don't ask other artists how I am doing and my family couldn't care less.

Doesn't really matter what job you have does it now? There will always be people who talk $hit about what you do. If you really think these comments are true, you might as well quit the business.

Healthy attitude!
Even more, I often find that those "mentors", always ready to offer their advice, have no idea what sells and what not.
