One of my friends sent me the link - with some of my pics being sold on this website.
Maybe this is a legit site (subsidiary of one of the "biggies") - but I never heard about them.
Since they claim to have over 6 million pics - chances are (if they are a rip-off artists, that is, which is yet to be confirmed/denied)that some of you may have "contributed" your pics there.

Have a look and - what do you think ?

Warning: fopen(http://api.123rf.com/rest/?method=123rf.images.search&apikey=a526ca3002dbbf532e2b1b67ed2d3af4&keyword=california+coast&keyword_match=all&page=1&perpage=40): failed to open stream: Connection refused in /var/www/samphotostock.cz/www/inc/apiFunctions.php  on line 53

From my end 123RF seems to be down :-)

Yes - this is what I am getting now too...
123RF is undergoing site maintenance at this moment - maybe they are part of 123RF ? Wait and see.

I'm about to do a huge DERAIL...

About those smiley faces... are you, or anyone else with yellow smileys in your port, concerned about copyright aspects of that iconic image?   Apparently it's a hotly contested image right now (here's just one example for further reading ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4984138.stm ) and I think some of the sites are playing cautious and not letting new smileys in and sometimes going through and removing old ones from ports.  Anyone else seeing this happen?

Sorry for the derailment... now back to your regularly scheduled thread...
