Geographically but certainly not as a people. No,  Americans are USAers.

USArs may be called Americans, but being American doesn't necessarily mean being a USArs.  I am American too.  America is not the USA.  I am a Latin American, but I am not a "Latino" in the racial/ethnical sense the word has (which I consider inappropriate exactly because Latin America is a cauldron of races).

Well, I'm from New Zealand, so we refer to most people from other places by the same title most Americans use for us: 'Where?'
