Title: How do I resubmit on Shutterstock?
Post by: angelawaye on July 28, 2015, 08:03
Hi fellow stockers,
It has been a long time since I resubmitted to shutterstock. I usually let it go and move on but an image of mine was rejected for title copyright - I'm guessing "superhero" is copyrighted because no other words would make sense.

I know things have changed over there. Can anyone let me know the process? I emailed them and have not heard back and searched their FAQ.
Thanks!

It's a regular upload. I haven't submitted there is a while but there might be a drop down on the submission page when you click to submit that informs the reviewer that the images are reups.

I put "previously submitted content" but have no idea if that is the right way because I can't add a note ...
I hope they don't get mad at me...

I believe there is not harm in submitting accepted photos again. I submitted 10 photos, I got rejeced because 3 were soft focus and 1 with irrelevant keywords which was my pin sharp photo and 6 could have been accepted if my submission was accepted.

I resubmitted same 7 photos and replaced only 3 which were a soft focus as per them. They were in focus and sharp, why would I upload soft focus when I have 100s of high quality images. I was just trying to show them my work with different photos, like I submitted macro (flowers and animals), wildlife, landscape, food, studio shoot. I just tried to show them the variety.

Guys let us all know your 2nd submission result. I'm also waiting for it. Cheers!
