Title: How do you manage?
Post by: encrenciel on December 04, 2016, 08:03
Can anyone illustrator here help me in sorting this out. I'v been with shutterstock for a long time. Now i want to expand the agencies to which i upload. The issue is, the regulations are bit different for each agency. For example, with shuttestock when uploading vectors, i set my jpeg previews to 2500/2500 resolution. But when i look at fotolia and envato, their rules are different. How do you manage ? Do you save each files differently for each agency or do you have a shortcut way? Thank you/

I save one jpg file big enough for fotolia and use it for all the other agencies.
I don't know about envato as I haven't uploaded there.

Envato is worst for vectors.
As Mir said, you sshould save one high resolution jpg, maybe at 5000x5000 and use it for all the agencies.

Yup. What they said. Silly to waste time saving at different sizes.

Thx and yea it seems more obvious one size for all. But again, the 'zip' thing slow down the process a bit since shutter doesn't ask for that but fotolia does. As far as envato is concerned, i'm only starting there now based on the earnings rating on the right. I see envato is in some good position. Which are your best agencies when it concern vectors?
