Just wondering if you people who have been in the biz long enough, if you have found your stock goes stale after a while?

my guess is 5 years for people shots 10 years for objects.

but that is just a guess

Fashions change pretty quickly (just watch some of the early Friends episodes!) so I think in 10 years, a lot of people shots are going to look dated. Oh well, at least I don't have to keep coming up with new concepts. In a couple of years I'll just have to reshoot everything I've done before!

But just think, the people shots that go out of style in 5 or 10 years are going to go back into demand in say, 30 years.  Hooray for vintage shots =)

The new discoveries in digital technology along with the changes of fashion trends and habits may render them obsolete for designers sooner than later.  But I still think that people with personal interests will still buy them in the long run.  We'll see.
