Post by: ludesal on March 23, 2007, 14:16
hi everyone! :)

i'm starting to upload vectors on SS. i did a retro background which is selling very good, so i uploaded 2 other versions with different colors.
so the question: how meny variations should i upload? i think 3 is enough, but i'm asking you, the experienced ones couse i don't know.

Lucía

(please, tell me 100 are ok  ;D)

Latex,

I don't know how many variations do the sites tolerate.  In my illustrations (not backgrounds) I normally go with two different colors and perhaps second pair in diferent orientation.

yeah that is tough to say.  I would say as long as they are significantly - or moderatly different they may be of interest to a buyer... i think 20 version of the same vector just different colors is perhaps a bit of a overkill... i might limit it to 3-5 if color was the only difference.. but i don't know what the right answer is.
