Hi!
How much you estimate your photo session? Suppose that photo session takes one working day. And all photos from this session will be uploaded on stocks. How many dollars you planned to earn from this average working day?

Since I only shoot food and stilllife my prop cost me no more then $5.00

I believe that in the end the highest cost is our own time. Even without considering the time spent afterwards with edition, keywording and uploading, the time you spend in a photo session could have been used for something else - flipping burgers as Flemish often exemplifies, or making technical translations which are always in high demand here.

Or simply enjoying your time, which is priceless (even without Mastercard).

It seems there is an exceedingly large number who think they should make less than a $100 per day. Did I read that right? Can anyone live for less than $100 per day and carry on a business?

I would assume that these people are hobbyists and don't consider this to be a business. Also a session to them might just involve walking around the house or garden photographing whatever they come across.
