What’s interesting to me is it looks like they just took the pictures from the first NY Mag’s blog article on feminism. The different layouts of the images are exactly the same in the slideshow in the original NY Mag’s blog article. They should have paid to use all of those, no?

Maybe so BD but parody is protected. I don't know if re-using someone else's images for humor is included. It would be an interesting case. We see these over and over and they are cute and funny. Why don't the agencies take action if it's illegal? Back to, I'm guessing it's protected use, they could claim it's news and review, but I really don't know for sure.
Lifting it from another site could possibly be a worse offense?
