People stick with the same bank all their lives while continually complaining about them. They don't like big stores/supermarkets but shop in them all the time. Lots of people are complaining about istock here but continuing to supply them with new images.

I don't really understand it but I gave up trying to work out why people do things. Life would be much better if they all did what I want them to

The instantaneous increase in DL's suggests to me the possibility that buyers are becoming increasingly price conscious at iStockphoto, and prefer to buy at non-exclusive prices when given the choice.
