If I had a time machine, I would burn my current microstock portfolio on some DVDs and travel back to 2003 and upload the images to IS and SS.
In 2012 I would propably be a millionnaire.  ;D
I remember the times when a crappy image could sell tens of times per day, but I had a very tiny portfolio back then.

Too bad my images aren't that hot selling today...   ::)

You are all wrong!

If I had a time machine i sure wouldn't be in microstock because i would have won every lottery jackpot in every State since they started the lottery and i would be a Billionaire if not a trillionaire without ever having to work again nor would any of my Children or my Children's Children.

You people think small.

And with the taxes you would have paid on those winnings you would have wiped out some of the U.S. national debt.

How much did you make per sale in 2003?  I'm sure it was very little.  As prices went up, images sold went down.  Increased competition isn't the only reason we sell a lot less images now.

If I was taking all my current images with me to the past, then I would probably open my own shop and not bother with IS or SS.

I think the lottery idea though is a much better plan.  ;D

If I had a time machine I would take my camera and strobes and go back to the Victorian age first, then to the roaring twenties, may be to the medieval times too, and take thousands of highres pictures (with signed MR's) without having to stage anything or buy expensive authentic clothing.   I LOVE vintage!

If i had a time machine i had traveled back in march 2004 ( when i uploaded my first stock images ) , I would have slapped me twice and convince me to continue uploading.... not waiting until late 2010.....  :P

can the time machine go forward in time aswell ?
I'd go forward get the cure for cancer, aids, an iphone 8, 5dMVII and the race results for every horse race.
I'd Come back give the cures to some researcher, sell the iphone and 5dMVII to samsung for 1 billion dollars and keep the race results as backup. I'd delete all my microstock accounts.

Then I'd go back in time to see if that jesus dood was really all he was cracked up to be, see who it really was on that grassy knoll and check out some good surf spots with no crowds.

Model releases and shooting dates might be interesting, or might get some rejections for information accuracy? LOL

I'm with ruxpriencdiam in a common way. I'd go to Las Vegas and do some sports betting. Open a bank account and deposit winnings. Come back to the future and live off the interest. Lotteries are kind of tricky when you are doing time continuum conundrums and complications. Many small wins and long term interest, that would be my game.

Do your photos come back to the future? Maybe not? You can't carry things forward. You need to put them somewhere safe in the past and go retrieve them in the future. ???

Remember to load your batteries before entering the medieval times, you won't find sockets in the walls! :)

Don't you think the time machine has got an in-built charger?  I'm not gonna travel with the cheapest time machine on the market! :D

SERIOUS WARNING!!

If you are shooting digitally make sure you don't tamper with your IPTC data's "Date Created" field. That could serious disrupt the space-time continuum. It's quite possible that when you return you may find Obama won a second term.

Then be sure your time machine battery is recharged. You don't want to get stuck in 1183 A.D.

Oh please no!  They burned witches in these times, and they would surely think I am one with that weird black camera-thing in my hands ...

YES!

Who said Steve Jobs didn't create a time machine to copy the phones of the future today and simulate his death to disappear with the money and resurrect in the future to be worshiped and cancel the success of a big phone company of the future?
