Impact of stopping uploads

I think that's very hard to evaluate and probably has a lot to do with how successful you are at stock, how regular your income was before etc.
I have read on the SS forum (RIP) a couple of contributors who haven't uploaded for years but their incomes remained steady, until the payment change last year.
I stopped uploading to SS when they changed the payment scheme, but it's really hard to make an evaluation with a worldwide pandemic in between.
My numbers dropped but I suspect mainly because of the pandemic.
If you regularly upload images that sell well quickly then the impact of stopping uploads is going to be felt.

for me none. My new images are not getting sales only the old ones :-[

I have no personal experience, but have asked this question before in a German forum. Most have reported that with upload stop the downloads do not decrease immediately, but significantly after 1-2 years.

I observe a similar thing. And stock agencies have some subtle ranks for contributors and promote their works according to their priorities + activity level. I am pretty sure, at least the top agencies, many follow this strategy.
