Title: Interested in Meeting up in Europe?

Just wondering whether Microstockgroup members would be interested in meeting up?

I live in Ireland but my suggested meeting place would be Berlin as its pretty central for Europe, accommodation is good, cheap and plentiful, the nightlife is excellent and there are lost of interesting  opportunities for photography.

I would suggest some conversation / forum threads : ->

> Future of (micro) stock

> Photoshoot (s)

> Website development, promotion, programming, etc

> The ideal microstock site

I understand that you Leaf are based in Norway, you might like make it an official strand of this forum / site much like the iStockalypses ...
Yuri Accurs is based I think in Denmark it would be great if he would come along

Any takers?
Any thoughts?

yeah, that would be good times allright.  I could be interested in a get together.  It would be fun if we could organize a shoot or two.

An interesting idea...but I as a German would prefer something like Norway or Ireland :)

Sorry Freezingpics I know it is hard to satisfy everyone but costs of board and lodging are very high in both Ireland and Norway ...

Interesting idea, I have some frequent flyer miles left to spend.. I will prefer scotland's whiskey areas :) lot of good things to drink:) and nice highland scenery too (any single malt crasies out there?). Maybe some south europe locations as well (cheap, sunny) or east europe as well.

Of course you can all come to Finland and see the country with many thousand lakes :).

Who would pay my air ticket?  :D

Cheap accomodation in Europe?  Not even youth hostels are that cheap anymore.  Come to Brazil instead, or join me in a trip to Bolivia or Chile in May.  :)

But lodging and food are quite cheap!! What about EUR 10 per kg of food?  Or the best all-you-can-eat barbecue for EUR 30, including drinks and dessert?  And this is in Rio, if you go to the Northeast everything is even cheaper.

We could all meet here in Canada. It's curently -15 or -20 whitout the wind. We are going to sleep at the Ice hotel and have a hundred dollars drink in a ice cup... ::) OK let say Brazil
