Title: Interesting article on copyright infringement
Post by: Jonathan Ross on July 04, 2011, 11:48
Hi All,

I was sent this by a friend and found it interesting reading so I thought I would post it here since it is related to the sales of imagery. I hope you find something useful.

Best,
Jonathan

Truth is a subtle concept in today's cyberspace.  :-\

Remember the recent fake Syrian lesbian blog, actually done by an US man.

I used to read Hawk's blog but got tired of hearing about his many quarrels. Couldn't say if he is simply a high-strung individual or is deliberately picking fights to generate publicity for himself or his business interests (he is or was an investor in an online photo-display site). By chance I read one of his anti-Maisel diatribes a few days ago, and as I read it I kept trying to figure out what it was that Hawk was upset about, because it seemed to me that Baio had clearly ripped off Maisel's work and that Maisel had behaved reasonably in response.

Who knows what the back story is here. Or maybe it's just an example of how the Internet brings unhinged people together.
