Title: Interesting Software that I've never seen?
Post by: RacePhoto on November 05, 2008, 11:52
http://www.microsoft.com/iplicensing/productDetail.aspx?productTitle=Interactive%20Image%20Cutout

Microsoft Interactive Image Cutout technology makes it easy to remove people and objects from a photo, and then place them into another photo. The technology intelligently discerns the edges, color similarities, and grading information of the image for quick and easy editing. This technology offers value-added enhancement for a digital imaging company seeking to provide competitive differentiation to an image processing product or service.

Apparently Microsoft developed this to license to other companies. I wonder if anyone ever purchased the license or if it really works?

Really basic video presentation of the above.

They could not make it free for Windows users, could they?    ;)

How about Beta testing and have it for free download. All they would have to do is put a note here and MSC would have many many testers.  ;D

It would either be a ringing endorsement for the software or a knife in the heart!
