I find with SS and IS that sales on a Friday are always pants. Surely not as it is a working day ? I can understand the weekend being quiet.

It's already the weekend in Asia, Australia etc. Sundays are better than Saturdays for the same reason - it's already Monday on the other side of the international dateline.

Personally I find Friday's to generate from 50% to 75% of what Monday through Thursday's generate. On Saturday I don't even check my sales...

What Jo says.

Saturday is the only day in the world that the whole world is not working (not the whole world exactly, but you catch my drift)

It is exact.
And some religions have Friday as rest day.
Just consider that 23% of the world population is muslim.

You just need to switch to higher RPD sites, then every day of the week can be either awesome or terrible. It's like gambling.  ;D

I don't know about the rest of the world but Brits tend to go down the pub every Friday lunchtime and the afternoon is usually spent giggling or dozing.

Best set your alarm clock for half past Sunday.

Well there is no plausible reason why friday of all days should be dead.

Jo-Ann's reason is perfectly plausible, combined with people finishing off projects they've already bought pics for before the weekend, and/or winding down for the weekend.

Reread the replies in this thread.  You've been presented with several plausible reasons.

Herg asks for lots of advice on MSG. However he mostly ignores or argues the toss against any advice offered ... and he never, ever has the courtesy to thank anyone for their time in replying to his concerns. I wouldn't bother.

Quick fix for this:  Put Herg on 'Ignore' mode. See how easy that was to fix  ;)

Wouldn't it be better if Herg could simply learn some basic manners?

Define "Friday" (says the Australian).  My Fridays are just fine.  Sundays suck the most for me, as the rest of the world realises it's the weekend.

Unless you have some manner of bending time and space, the whole "the world is really big and we're all spread out across 24 different hours" is a perfectly valid reason for your Friday being quiet.

Of course! But you know we have a few other members besides Herg that having 'manners' isn't in their vocabulary.  8)

Well that's very sad you feel like that. Thanks anyway. Never mind.  :-X
