Title: Is there an archive of TV program credits online somewhere?
Post by: Justanotherphotographer on August 20, 2015, 06:14
I am working on my DACS form, for books I can search Google books for my name. Is there something similar for tv programs somewhere? I remember seeing one of my images in a documentary a few months ago and I am curious to find out if they have shown up anywhere else. That and I need the references to claim!

IMDB.com is the most extensive database I know of, but I'm sure they don't go to that level of detail.

Thanks, I don't think they do either. It's a pain that the scheme is out there but there's no way to track the usage to make a claim. I can't even remember the name of the one I happened to see!

Are your TV program licenses from Alamy? If so, DACS will accept a CSV file from Alamy that shows use and region, without your needing to be more specific. You may already know that and be looking for additional uses, in which case, I can't add anything helpful. I was really glad that I filed last year even with just a handful of uses I could verify. Good luck!

Thanks. Yes it was additional uses I was after. I'm doing my own form, I can easily find the requisite examples for the other categories  but tracking down tv uses seems to be imposible.
