It's not. A couple of years ago, it was OK. Sales there have completely fallen off, and the site goes down a lot when you're uploading. It can take up to a month or longer to get a review, and some of the rejections make little sense. I wouldn't advise starting there. It's too bad because I like the site.

I only upload to Veer these days if I really have absolutely nothing better to do.... Economically speaking it's only slightly better than sleeping.

So do I; the review time sometimes is very long, but my rejection rate is below 10%.
With almost 3K images there I get about 50-100 sales/month (resulting in 8-10 payouts a year).
... so, if you have quite a bunch (1000+) to upload, it may be worth spending the time.

I got most of my stuff up there during their DFC (Dash For Cash) where they actually paid for uploads - so that combined with decent sales for a few years made it definitely worthwhile for me at the time. Now I still upload there out of momentum, but I don't know that it is worth it unless things turn around there. Probably not.

I left Veer in March this year over the lack of an opt out to their secretive partner programs.

They won't give you a list of partners and they pay you the standard amount as if the sale was made on the Veer site even if the partner is selling for much higher prices (which many do).

They refused to offer an opt out - I asked. And don't forget the fiasco of them uploading Veer portfolios to Alamy (which they removed after a massive contributor stink, but they didn't notify us of this up front; communications with contributors are terrible).

I had only a portion (just over 800 images) of my portfolio there and the money was pretty decent - about 6 or 7 payouts a year. But it wasn't enough money to entice me to put up with their overall terrible behavior as an agency (their uploading and CV and slow reviews were horrible, but I'd have lived with that if everything else was right).

If you're not already with Veer, I can't see any good indications to start.

Veer is a low earner with few sales but they do have the occasional EL. Because of that they give me the highest RPD after Alamy.

Unfortunately my bills to pay are not occasional.

Of course if you upload on other sites, uploading on sites like Veer and similar can (perhaps) be a plus. A plus if you have time to wait 5 or 6 years to get paid

"Because of that they give me the highest RPD after Alamy."  Which illustrates why that is such a meaningless stat. Probably my worst underperforming site compared with  my expectations
