Title: iStock and getty - no commission on sale?
Post by: pelooyen on February 13, 2015, 20:36
I have an image on iStock that was recently sold on Thinkstock, also a subsidiary of Getty.
I know it was sold as I saw the image in a publication, contacted the publisher, who confirmed buying it off Thinkstock.

Thing is, it has never shown up in my sales in iStock.

Makes me wonder if other images are sold elsewhere, without payment being made to me

Does anyone have answers?

What income do you think you may have missed out on?

Sounds like they owe you 28 cents. Are you sure the subs were calculated for the timeframe the image was purchased? IStock only calculates them the following month at no defined schedule. They are the hardest to track

Thanks
Answers my question - good to learn how it works
Image was sold last month so will just have to wait - but I am not hanging to get that 28c   ;D
