I have been looking at Istock Chart and have seen a change lately in a lot of the top providers in the column that follows this months 30 day downloads as apposed to 90 days of downloading and I am seeing a lot more people in the red instead of the green. Are sales slowing there for some of the top providers compared to 90 days ago. I would think that their would be a lot more green as we are now in better selling months than over the past 90 days. I also noticed that more and more Istock Exclusives are removing their data from the chart.

Nope. Sales are fine.

My March was a BME and April is also starting out strong for me.
What chart are you looking at?
-
Probably this one http://istockcharts.multimedia.de/ (http://istockcharts.multimedia.de/)
I've still got green but I noticed the same as you that there seemed to be a lot more reds.
-
.nevermind.

To the OP,
My bad, I re-read your post and you were talking about the top providers, of which I certainly am not one.
Possibly a slight change in the best match is causing a shift giving broader exposure to other members?
-
I'm not one of the top either but I am a diamond and I noticed that there seemed to be a lot more reds in diamonds than last time I looked.
-
There is a mix of positive and negative and the values are most of the time low (+/- 5%). I would say this is just normal variations which show that sales are more or less stable since the begining of the year.

If you look the fist 8-10 pages you'll see that almost all non-ex have green numbers. They seem to be well treated in this best match incarnatioon.
-
That's because we were so badly treated in the best match before that the difference really notices. It may be giving the exclusives the idea that we are being treated better than them but that isn't the case.

I agree, my sales were hit hard for a few months but now they are back to a better level. I am in a race to gold and thought it would be easy to reach by the end of May but now it looks impossible. I am starting to regret saying I would eat my camera if I didn't make it :-[

Too soon to panic, IMO, but after gains of 15% in March my Istock sales for April (Wed - Fri) took a 35% plunge.
With no corresponding drops anywhere else I am guessing it is either a best match tweak on the first of April or else just Ebb rearing his ugly head.

Looks red to me. (http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/7426/isbm2.jpg)

Don't forget we had easter and many were on spring vacation, so no wonder there is a lot of red.

I actually like the little blue bars. You can see what days of the week are best and weekends do drop off. That's one answer to a question that people ask now and then. Everyone seems to follow the same patterns. It is 90 days. Easter was only one weekend.
Easter and then Memorial Day, followed by schools out, then it's Summer vacations, the 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and every other reason. There are always going to be hot and cold periods. Over the long run, things level off and people shouldn't hang on day by day or week by week, it will make you crazy. ;D
According to the agencies and the industry, micro should be picking up the business from traditional agencies, which to me means growth.
Of course for those who like controversy, blame best match 2.0. ;)
