How long does iStock need to review images? I am waiting what seems forever. It is my first upload of images after getting accepted. Even DT is faster.

For indies, they say a week to ten days, but in I've read reports of a fortnight or more; though that was when a lot of inspectors were at the Paris Lypse.

It has been slightly longer. Is it possible that they only start once the tax interview if done? I have only filled the form out today. Do I need a certain amount of images before they start to review? I have only uploaded 16 images .

My last batch took about three weeks to get reviewed. It doesn't really matter a lot to me since I consider stock a long term thing and if my images sell over the next five to ten years, a week or more doesn't make much of a difference. Also iStock doesn't really reject a lot these days, certainly not for technical reasons. So there is a very low risk that images need to be re-submitted and I have to wait again.
There is no connection to the tax interview nor any minimum limit of images to submit.

Thank you. I am not impatient. I thought I did something wrong.

Mine three weeks too

I always wondered why they need so much time when they accept almost anything. SS accepts usually in 12 hours, few times it happened in five minutes, and on iS I have some pictures waiting from 20.05. usually I don't mind but since I have made few pics about euro and brexit i get impatient as times go since they are not gonna be accepted in time. Aldo it's my mistake for late uploading in first time.

I feel ya. I've also got a couple pictures pending for over two weeks that are time sensitive. IStock moves slowly.

At one point, their review time took a ridiculous amount of time. I finally eMailed them and they took care of it fairly quickly. Since then, a few days to a week max.

Well... I looked at istock as a videographer: they are not accepting video codecs accepted everywhere else, pricing 4k equally to HD, having strange invitation upload system, paying 3 times less for clips compared to others... I thought they are just photo oriented agency and here it is, they are reviewing photos in 3 weeks :))
I guess they are very tired of this business and having everyweek brainstorms to find better ways of sinking it.

It really looks that way; on the other hand, as an exclusive, I had an editorial pic accepted in a couple of hours today. For what that'll be worth (75c, probably :( :'().

Four days to a week for me. Some stocks also prioritize and it may take on average longer for a newcomer. I don't know if iStock is doing that.

Not a newbie 10 years and I have 5/24 pending. Get the message. Either they are killing indie and taking care of ex again, or Getty is killing IS staff which means they don't care about iStuck anymore. They gave up on us.

Do they review video batches with both submitted and not submitted clips the same batch?
