Would you be interested in a service that would post pictures for you, including generating keywords. How much would you be willing to pay per pic post per site ?
I start in the microstock biz and have got a couple of 1000's pics time 5 main sites so I'll be in front of my PC posting for the next 5 years. Is any companu doing that kind of stuf ?

i am not sure it would fly.
most people are just hobbyists who are happy doing their own uploading / keywording. Most people upload so few it is also not a very big job.
Those who do it professionally would want to have lots of control over it and proably want to do it themselves. Those who don't want to do it themselves are probably making enough to hire an assitant or two and upload 'inhouse'

Agree. As a manual service I don't expect there's much of a market for the same reasons Leaf mentioned - if you hire an assistant you can train them and have them do it the way you want.
What would be a superior alternative is a website where people could upload their photos once to have them broadcast to their accounts at all the microstock agencies they choose. That way they only have to upload once and they still have full control. Kind of like an online version of ProStockMaster.
The issue with this model (and yours too) is that people would have to give their passwords to a third party, which definately wouldn't fly. At least with ProStockMaster they're stored in a secure database on your own computer.

thanks lee, just discovered prostockmaster because of you, is it worth using ? the thing is cheap so not a money question but sometime that kind of soft are more a time wasting than a time saving, so if anybody has any feedback on using it, please send

I used it for a few pics. It was extremly slow on my computer, so I stopped using it. In the shareware version you just can submit 5 a day. And you still have to go to the agencies to put in the categories. So it was not saving any of my time.

I use it regularly and like it. Saves time considerably - much easier to put checkmarks to sites I want images to go to and click Upload than go to each sote individually and work through their upload process. Drop by when you have time, put categories in, you are done (well, except for IStock disambiguwhatever thingy). Oh, and since I am not a big volume uploader, free version is fine with me - 5 photos a day limit is not really limiting me.

I resolved the slowness issues by removing and re-installing Java. Speak with David, the developer, if you need to. He provides good technical support.
It's perfect if you upload a lot - whether you're a high producer or you're starting out with microstock and uploading your entire portfolio. You can leave it unattended to upload hundreds of files to 10 agencies, so it has a high capacity.
The $49 investment for the unlimited upload license pays for itself very quickly if you're uploading a lot. I estimate it saves me about a hour for every 20 photos I upload to all agencies, so the $49 was repaid very quickly. There's not too many opportunities to automate workflow in microstock, so this one is a key tool.
Freezing is right that you still have to categorize on some sites and disambiguate at iStock. But doing this in large batches increases your efficiency. Also, photos go straight through to the review queue at the agencies without categories.
For me it's a no-brainer. The $49 comes back easily, but I'll never get back the time I spent manually uploading all my photos before I found ProStockMaster.

Hmm, I might rethink that, if I have masses of images. For now I am occassionally just uploading 1-5 a day. So I do not spent much time uploading in gerneral.
