Title: Keeping track of uploaded photos
Post by: daintee on July 25, 2008, 12:53
Hi all--another newbie question here:

How do you guys keep track of files pending, deleted, and approved.  I have been keeping them in a table in microsoft word, but it is starting to get quite extensive and was wondering if anyone has any tracking software or a better homemade system for this.

Thanks!

I don't. I just upload to the agencies I want them on. Most get accepted, some rejected. If I have some unique images which might sell very well and are rejected for a technical reason, I resubmit normaly right away after I tried to fix the issue. So I do not really see a need for me to track them.

I'm not a heavy uploader, but I do keep track (notes) of where I submit images so as not to "double upload" the same image.

Could be a bit hectic OK if you submit to a lot of sites.
At the moment I'm seriously concentrating on just four agencies.
