I have not been able to figure out how to prevent my keyword order that has been saved in Bridge metadata from spasmodically changing when uploaded to Adobe.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Geoff

I put together a short video showing you how to add keywords in Adobe Bridge. If done right, the system won't re-order them.

Many thanks, Mat  I will run with that.
A further question if I may, would you be able to give me any info on how to achieve the same when uploading to other sites such as Shutterstock & Photo4me etc. ?
Your assistance has been much appreciated.

It should work the same for most sites. The exception would be that Adobe Stock uses the "document title" field for the title while other sites may use the "description" field instead (or both). Keywords should have the same function everywhere as far as I know.

Hi Mat, I have a question. As you said that the first 10 keywords in the list are important so does this also imply on the description of the image?

If by description, you mean the title then yes. Words that are listed in the title and in the first 10 keywords have added weight in search results.

Thanks Matt, that worked great. But I normally work in Lightroom, and when I used it to add keywords and other metadata to AdobeStock all the fields were blank. So I had to go to Bridge and do it all over again.
So, do you have any information on how to do this with LR?

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, at this point in time I do not recommend you use either version of Lightroom to embed your metadata for Adobe Stock submissions. I communicate with the LR team the need, every chance I get in hopes that someday we can provide an option to stop alphabetizing keywords. For now, since they are alphabetized, you'll need to re-sort in the portal to move your most important keywords to the top of the list.

My advice is to use Bridge for this service or to create CSV files with your metadata.

I would be great if Adobe did not rearrange the order. Lightroom is so much better than bridge. I use hierarchy with synonyms.
