Have a quick question. Does anyone know what length the videos sold on stock sites should be ? Are there any limits ? Any preferred size or format ? Just got myself a 5D MK II and would like to shoot a video or two but don't know anythinhg about these things. Thanks in advance and regards from Macedonia, Ljupco

I know revostock has a 15 second limit and istock have a 30 second limit.  I keep most of mine just under 15 seconds, as any longer than that makes the files huge and I am not sure the buyers need longer clips.  Fotolia have a 300mb upload limit and that limits the length of the clip.

So if I shoot my clips under 20 seconds I can upload them on all the sites accepting stock footage? I will try to make my first with the new firmware upgrade for 5D mark II.

Microstock = "Masters of the 19 second video"  ;D

I was going to try an animation and now I know what I should plan for, frames/frame rate = 19 seconds.

At 28 fps a 2gb card that holds about 500 images, will shoot a 17.8 second animation. COOL!

Now I need to figure out the interval so the motion is smooth.
