Can't answer your question directly, sorry, but if you feel you could attract buyers yourself, why would you then send them to an agency and pay them a commission for a sale they didn't attract?

You can put your SS link into your profile, but I suspect that's too subtle. I didn't realise SS forbade selling rejected pics anywhere else -  I'm sure that's wrong, as people often say things that SS reject things that other agencies sell (just like is said for the other agencies, it's such a bagatelle). AFAIK, the only agency that has that rule is iStock for their exclusives.

(Make sure you watermark your images, disable right-click saving and untick 'sharing'. Won't stop really determined thieves, but it puts off a lot.)

I read some advice recently about promoting my stock images on Flickr.  One method is to put rejected images up on Flickr (they shouldn't be for sale anywhere), and then somehow get people to visit my collections for sale on Shutterstock and the like.

I've just read that Flickr only allows linking to Getty, because of their partnership.

Does anyone know how to promote SS images on Flickr?

I've asked myself that on several occasions. (the question in bold)  My answer is that I'm not sure how to set up the money transfer or how to license the image.  
Am I the only one?
